Sign-in: Demo Access and Virtual Wallet

This guide covers how to access the Endpoint Gauge demo. Unlike a commercial platform, this independent simulation does not use a traditional sign-in process or require an account. There is no external identity, no email verification, and no cash wallet. You can begin playing immediately using the browser session.

No Sign-In Required

This demo operates as a standalone browser application. It does not ask for a username or password. There is no account creation flow, meaning you are not registered with any specific operator. The absence of a login screen does not imply that personal data is not processed; it simply means the demo does not require an identity to function.

Because there is no account, you cannot share your game history across devices or recover a specific session ID. The interface provides access to the game mechanics without an account-login control. This does not establish anonymity.

Virtual Wallet and Balance

The demo uses a virtual coin system. Your balance is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This storage persists even if you close the tab, but it is not synced to a cloud server.

  • Initial Balance: 1,000 virtual coins.
  • Restoration: If the balance drops below 10 while idle, you can manually refill it. This action sets the balance to exactly 1,000.
  • Fractional Carry: Any fractional value in the balance is preserved across settlements, refills, and page reloads.

The virtual coins have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. They are used solely for simulating the game's payout mechanics.

Persistence and Reload Behavior

The demo maintains state locally. If you reload the page:

  • Settled Rounds: The balance persists, including a zero balance.
  • Unfinished Draw: If a round is in progress (e.g., waiting for auto-draws), reloading the page ends that draw immediately without refunding the stake. The game does not resume from where it left off.

Controls such as Stake, Mode, and Refill are locked while a round is active and remain locked through any auto queue.

Data Storage and Privacy

The demo uses browser localStorage to save the settled balance and fractional carry. This storage method is visible to the browser but does not establish anonymity from the browser itself.

  • Third-Party Requests: The template declares a Google Fonts stylesheet. Actual browser request capture is pending; this is not a claim that other requests or processing are absent.
  • No Account Data: No account-login control is implemented in this demo. That does not establish what data other systems may process. However, the absence of account controls does not prove that no other personal data are processed.

Game Mechanics: Endpoint Gauge

The demo features the Endpoint Gauge game. The rules are as follows:

  1. Four independent uniform coordinates (0–7) form two closed intervals after sorting.
  2. The score is the maximum of the absolute difference between their lower endpoints and between their upper endpoints.
  3. One whole captured stake covers the complete configuration.
  4. Choose between score, score squared, or score cubed.

Each mode is separately normalized over all 4,096 equally likely words to a 96% expected gross return. A larger power does not change which words score zero.

Controls and Settlement

Controls:

  • Auto10: Queues at most ten captured draws.
  • Stop: Cancels future draws while the current one settles.
  • Sound: Remains available during settlement.

Settlement: Each settlement takes 480ms. During active settlement and the auto queue, Stake, Mode, and Refill are locked.

Frequently asked questions

How do I log in to the demo?

There is no login process. The demo is accessed directly via the browser without creating an account or entering credentials.

Can I recover my balance if I close the tab?

Yes, when browser storage is available, the current balance persists in localStorage, including balances of 10 or less and zero. If it drops below 10 while idle, you can manually refill it to set the balance to exactly 1,000. Fractional carry is preserved.

What happens if I reload during a round?

Reloading ends an unfinished draw without refund. The game does not resume from the previous state; the stored balance includes the stake already deducted for the unfinished draw; that draw is not refunded or resumed.
